Community Residential Services

What are Community Residential Alternative (CRA) Services?

CRA Services provide daily living support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in small residential licensed CLA’s (Community Living Arrangements) and host homes in the community.

Our Goals

To help each individual live a safe, meaningful, and fulfilling life in a home where they feel valued, respected, and supported.

More Than Care—A Place to Belong: We believe quality residential care is about more than meeting someone’s physical needs. It is about creating opportunities.

Live. Connect. Choose. Participate. Belong.

Residents are encouraged to participate in activities that are meaningful to them, including community outings, shopping, dining, recreation, family activities, appointments, hobbies, and other interests.

Family Partnership

Families and representatives are an important part of the individual’s support network. Longleaf Residential and the ALS team work collaboratively with families, representatives, care coordinators, nurses, healthcare providers, and other members of the individual’s team. We believe strong communication creates stronger support for the individual.

Health, Safety & Quality

The health, safety, dignity, and well-being of every individual are priorities.

Longleaf Residential provides management and operational support to the homes while working with the appropriate provider and clinical team to ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable Georgia requirements.

HOMES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT

Safe. Supportive. Welcoming.

CRA Services are provided through Comprehensive Waiver Services (COMP) and are designed to support individuals in living safely and as independently as possible in a residential setting.

Our residential homes provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where individuals can receive the assistance they need while maintaining dignity, choice, and independence.Residents are encouraged to participate in everyday activities, make choices, develop relationships, and remain connected to their families and communities.

Individuals are encouraged to spend meaningful time with family and friends.

We support opportunities for visits, gatherings, celebrations, and maintaining important relationships.

Individuals are encouraged and supported to participate in activities outside of the home and within their community.

Activities are based on each person’s interests, preferences, abilities, and goals.

We respect each individual’s:

  • Choices
  • Preferences
  • Strengths
  • Goals
  • Unique support needs
